The Clarisse Color Management system is based on OpenColorIO. We provide support for existing configuration files or the possibility to build a configuration within Clarisse, by loading LUT (Look Up Table) files using the LUT Manager. Switching between configurations is easy and instantaneous.
How the color correction works:
The principle of color correction is quite simple: each LUT defines a color space. Applying a color correction on an image means converting the data from one color space to another. When Clarisse images are rendered, the associated color space is the first available (using Clarisse embedded configuration, it will be "Linear"). If you choose to display it in the sRGB color space in the ImageView, Clarisse will convert the image from "Linear" to "sRGB".
