Node locked license#

To setup a node locked license, open the Isotropix License Manager. In the Configuration tab, set Licensing Type to Node Locked and then press Choose License... to browse for the license key file you received by email.

Once the license path is set, press Apply. You can now exit the Isotropix License Manager and run Clarisse.

Important

Setting license key location does not copy the file. Make sure to store the file somewhere safe where Clarisse can always find the file. If you move, delete, remove the file, Clarisse will be unable to locate the license key and will fail to start.

Alternatively, it is possible to copy the license key directly into the Clarisse binaries folder where Clarisse has been installed.

Just copy the license key file and rename it to license.key.

Important

Please note a node locked license is always bound to a specific machine. A license key can't be used for another machine than the one it has been generated for.

Troubleshooting#

If you are not sure of the license type, open the license file in a text editor. Here is how the node locked license should look like when opened in a text editor:
